For newly purchased bamboo products, we recommend that you do not boil or scald them with hot water, as this can easily damage the natural structure of the bamboo, affect its toughness, and shorten its lifespan.

When using bamboo chopsticks for the first time, it is recommended to soak them in warm salt water for about 30 minutes to 1 hour, and then clean them normally with water. This helps to clean any residue on the bamboo surface and enhances its durability.

If you wish the bamboo surface to be smoother and increase its moisture resistance, after cleaning and drying, you can apply a small amount of edible oil (such as olive oil) to the surface. Allow it to sit for several hours so the bamboo fibers fully absorb the oil, which makes the chopsticks more durable and less prone to cracking or mold.

Texture and Color Variation

Bamboo is a naturally grown material, and variations in color and grain are inevitable; each pair possesses its unique characteristics. It is considered normal as long as there are no obvious cracks, mold spots, insect damage, or perforations. Due to environmental factors during the bamboo's growth and differences in display screens, the actual color may vary slightly. Friends who mind this should consider carefully, as this is not eligible for return/exchange and is considered normal.
